Season 16 of The Bachelor premiered last night on ABC as the 26 young ladies (plus one not-so-young lady) vying for the love of Ben Flajnik introduced themselves to him and millions of television viewers, including Nicki Sterling, a 26-year-old dental student from Hurst, Texas.
For Bachelor and Bachelorette fans “dental student” might ring a bell as the last female dental student to compete on the show would eventually go on to become The Bachelorette! (Ashley Hebert y’all!) Unlike Ashley Hebert, though, Nicki Sterling has been to the altar once before! That’s right, Nicki was divorced just prior to going on the show (something I’m sure we’ll hear more about soon – assuming she continues getting roses) and had the maiden name Nicki Felix.
As far as anyone knows Nicki has no children, so that means Shawn Reynolds (not counting Brittney’s Grandma Sheryl) is the only mom on the show.
The ol’ internet doesn’t seem to know a lot about Nicki Sterling other than her recent marriage and name change, and the fact that she is currently a student at Blinn College where she is studying to be a dental hygienist. (That’s her there on the right from when she took a trip with fellow Blinn College dental hygeine students to Austin, Texas for Legislative Awareness Day earlier this year.)

Heterosexual dude notes: What can I say? If there were a Heterosexual Dude magazine, Nicki Sterling would be the cover girl. She is super fine, likes to party from a can, and will soon be able to pay for her own meals. That’s what our magazine calls “The Trifecta!”
