VIDEO It looks like Bieber Babygate still lives

Mug Shot Mariah Yeater

Just this morning I informed our readers that Mariah Yeater had quietly dismissed her paternity claim against pop star Justin Bieber. This news came directly from TMZ. Well the folks with WGN spoke with another attorney on Yeater’s team and he’s saying not so fast to the idea that this baby-daddy drama is over and done with.

While the earlier report mentioned the fact that attorneys Lance Rogers and Matt Pare had walked away, Mr. Jeffrey Leving explained that they have been replaced by John Carlson from Los Angeles.

“I did not step down and there is a legal team. It’s a new legal team. In light of death threats against my client, strategies have been reviewed…the San Diego team has been replaced by John Carlson from Los Angeles.”

Here is a video interview with Mr. Leving courtesy of WGN:

Jeffrey Leving added that:

“She believes Justin Bieber is the father. Right now there’s no more interviews for Mariah Yeater, I’m not going to allow that. Secondly, negotiations are going on right now with Bieber’s counsel and we’re trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA test with the same safe guards that would exist if there were a court order, but without a court order. The case is completely out of control and I don’t want something terrible to happen to my client or her child.”

In summary what we have is this lawyer that joined Yeater’s team late in the game who’s admitting that the original lawsuit was dropped but that he and his “new team” are still in negotiations with Bieber’s camp. This lawyer still believes that Bieber will submit his DNA testing and that after this is complete whatever the results may be will remain confidential.

Following this morning’s post a lot of peeps are stating that they think Bieber is paying Yeater off and that we will never know the actual truth. Personally, I don’t think that’s the case but maybe Yeater’s camp is hanging in still hoping for a payday go-away.
