Being a celebrity blogger I spend a lot of time of celebrity Facebook pages. In addition to the Twitter updates, photos, and videos there’s one thing they all have in common: haters.
It’s a mysterious phenomenon that people put forth all this effort, including the ironic gesture of clicking a “like” button, just so they can talk trash about the person the page is about.
Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo is no exception as her very popular Facebook page has more than it’s fair share of haters. Drita, being the pragmatist that she is, realizes that the infestation in unfumigateable, but that didn’t stop her from offering up this wonderful assessment of the phenomenon:
You know what I find so funny… the haters writing on my wall..that are insulting me or whatever you wanna call it..sweating me…are usually GROWN men…lmao…I could never see any man I was with go out of his way to go on a women’s page hit LIKE… to abuse a women.. honestly its prob the funniest thing me and my friends crack up. Grown Men. OMG…I feel so sorry for them..or whoever lays with them.lol
BOOM! That may not make these “men” unlike Drita’s page or stop making hateful comments, but it will at least make them feel a little like George Costanza just after he got out of a cold swimming pool 🙂
(It’s even funnier from someone like Drita, who I imagine would be the first to smash a bottle on you face if you were abusive to her in reality.)
