I doubt he’ll ever read this site as there are only so many hours in the day to do the tasks that are upon him but this is really a great thing for our country and I wanted to put it in print. I’ve always liked Colbert but I hope he lays off the Obama jokes for the mere fact that it could be encouraging people that truly hate our new president. I know there’s a lot of hype around Obama and that he’s sort of a pop icon, really, but I think that’s what he needs — he needs our support. I’m so happy that I finally back up our president. Now I can go to other countries and not hear straight away about how terrible our leader is. My prayers, best wishes, thoughts, good juju, all that jazz… are with this man and with all of us that we will rise to the occasion — help families, New Orleans, students, the injured, sick and wounded, our soldiers, other countries… that we will be the change we want to see in the world.
congratulations! from holland
I am so happy that the monster life we had in the past eight years is coming to the end!
I am also happy about the new opportunity for discriminated people in this country. It was a shame!

Amazing drawings of our new President and VP. Love it!
Awesome work!
The only bad thing that will come of this is *sob* no more Tina Fey on SNL. President Obama isn’t quite as fun to make fun of.
Ha ha! What a great day to be surfing the internet! Where do I get a poster?
My daughter is less than a year old. I will eventually have to tell her that her president being African American is a big deal. Two steps forward feels REALLY good!
(McCain is a great man as well. I think his campaign was a bit of a betrayal to who he is. Put him on your cabinet, Barack! Let’s take three steps forward!)
Great image! I think it could have had a little more red in it though
North Carolina came through for you Barack!
It’s a damned exciting time to be an American! (That sounds great to say!)
We’ll see. I’ll do my part and adjust my pessimositor to “Benefit of the Doubt.”
Great Drawing! Great Day for our country!
Just like you said Barack, you’re my president too. I hope your rhetoric trickles down to your political brethren, and our elected officials will be able to move forward with a little less bitterness and a little less sarcasm.
I’m ready.
On the other hand, my celebrity news needs MORE bitterness and sarcasm! Get to work starcasm! “Yes you can!”
Congratulations Mr. President, Barack Obama!
Yes congrats, but for now that is it from me. In a few weeks all the glitz and 100,000 people rallys are going to fade and he is going to have to actually DO THE JOB. Hopefully he will be able to do that at a level that helps the country. If not, then we will be back in the same situation we are in now.
So for now, congrats, but do your job and what you promised to actually make a change. The time for “words” has now passed and now we the people need to see “action.” I voted for you, but that is not good enough. Now you need to produce.
