Jim Carrey calls creepy Emma Stone love video ‘comedy routine’

Well I think actor Jim Carrey has discovered, or at least went next level, a means to getting yourself in the news cycle on the internet. Instead of your standard wardrobe malfunction or mug shot you can just go straight up creepy and call it a “comedy routine.”

If you’ve not seen the following extremely awkward video that Jim Carrey posted as a message to actress Emma Stone let me warn you that you will not laugh but you might need to clear your head:

Folks were all over Carrey wondering if this was supposed to be some sort of Funny or Die type of thing or if it was a straight off-your-rocker love note. From watching I certainly couldn’t tell so Jim, who’s a noted Twitterholic and of course the master of keypad funny faces, responded with this:

Here’s part of what he said in case you’re in a multimedia unfriendly location:

“I think you’re all the way beautiful, not just pretty but smart and kind-hearted and if I were a lot younger, I would marry you, and we would have chubby little freckle-faced kids. We’d laugh all day long and go camping, play Yahtzee, tell ghost stories by the fire. And the sex…And everyday, for the rest of your life, you would thank God that I was the appropriate age for you. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how I felt. You’re pretty special, and I wish you continued success and artistic fulfillment, but most of all, I wish you love and contentment. That’s all.”

Ummmm. Okay. You can check out his site that includes artwork and other Carrey meanderings here.
