Kat Von D claims she quit L.A. Ink, betrothed to Jesse James again

Kat Von D after James split, before reunion with James

TLC recently announced that they decided that the run for Kat Von D’s show L.A. Ink was coming to an end. Kat got a little catty about this claim via Twitter countering that it was her call. It’s a classic case of network said, reality star said if I’ve ever seen one.

Here’s TLC’s statement:

“TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last. The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D’s journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles. The series finale will air September 15th at 10 p.m.”

And here is Kat’s Twitter response:

Wait, there’s more on this as she made a more detailed explanation via People:

“In an effort to capitalize on my recent breakup, the network has decided to focus their energy on re-editing events that didn’t happen while filming. I have no regrets and am very proud of the original footage. In my opinion, any attempt to compromise the honesty of that would be an insult to my fans and viewers. As grateful as I am to have been a part of a show like LA Ink,  I’m ready to end this chapter and want to focus on other projects now.”

Meow Kat! Speaking of that, this recent breakup is now a break-in! That’s right everybody, we all can quit our uncontrollable sobbing as Jesse James has confirmed via People (these peeps are down with People) that the two are not only back together but that they are once again engaged! James said:

“Sometimes you are only given one chance in life. It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”

They posted photos of themselves embracing and James captioned it with, “Para siempre,” which means “forever” in Spanish. Here is pure love folks:

Kat and Jesse are engaged again and embracing

Warms the ol’ heart doesn’t it? And I’m sure there’s no coincidence that this news came at the same time that Kat was claiming she quit her show instead of TLC quitting her. Some might even suggest that the breakup was a stunt because Kat knew she could be cancelled and wanted to make headlines to appear relevant but I say when you get an armpit tattoo like the following it’s an unbreakable love connection.

Now when Kat sweats it will once again be tears of joy that drip down Jesse’s childhood face and land softly on a rainbow.
