Earlier this year, Bethenny Frankel sold her Skinnygirl Cocktail brand to Fortune Brands (Jim Beam) for what is rumored to be 9 figures, but as part of the deal she’s seeing through the launch of more prepackaged cocktail flavors besides the popular Margarita.
Most recently, she launched the new bottled Skinnygirl Sangria at Gramercy Park Hotel in NYC. She has a recipe on her website for Skinnygirl Sangria that features Prosecco and Fresca, so it might be safe to say that the bottled version probably has a citrus flare (just the SG Margarita, the booze is already in the bottle, but you’ll have to add fruit of your choice.)
Bethenny has blown up bigger than anyone suspected she would; she currently has a number of other lines she’s promoting, including shapewear, a daily body cleanse, and affordable skincare products (of course, not to mention her books, a potential talk show, and most importantly, the personal happiness she seems to have with her new husband and baby.) While the rest of her former Real Housewives of New York castmates seem to be falling apart and eating themselves alive, it looks like B. is thriving. Bethenny Ever After indeed.
