Cheech is officially off the market, try not to weep too hard, ladies. Low-brow and hig-brow culture united when pot-comic Cheech Marin married concert pianist Natasha Rubin Saturday, August 8, 2009 in a romantic sunset ceremony at their home in Malibu.
The lovely bride was born in Russia, and has performed widely there and in the United States throughout her life. She’s been Cheech’s lady friend since 2005. Click here to read her biography.
The ceremony was performed by L.A. Mayor Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and guests in attendence included Don Johnson, Geraldo Rivera, Paul Mitchell, Robert Rodriguez, and Carlos Mencia. Natasha walked down the aisle to the tradiational “Here Comes the Bride,” while Cheech chose to amble to “Earache my Eye” of off Cheech and Chong’s Wedding Album. This is the third marriage for Cheech, who proposed to Natasha this February. Let’s hope this one doesn’t go up in smoke.
