My first instinct when I saw the above image of Lenny Kravitz was to crack bizarro Zoolander jokes but it kept looking back at me until I surrendered to a personal truth: That retro handset that Kravitz is using is one of the baddest ass things I’ve ever seen. It just is, even thought I wanted to be all snarky and hate on it I just couldn’t. I wanted to swing my hipster wrecking ball and smash it up but it was just too powerful.
It got so bad and I was questioning my blogging heart so much that I asked some casual friends about it and the reaction was universal.
“Where can I get one of those handsets? That’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.”
The people had spoken and they clearly believed as I did that if there ever was a cell accessory beyond criticism it was the beastly Shaft from the 70’s retro handset Kravitz was rocking on the streets of New York City. I did a little research and have found where you can get your hands on this same must have gadget!

What I specifically love about this piece is the wound cord that you probably will still find at your grandparent’s house. What can I say I love it!
