It’s been a while since we’ve seen Seth Rogen in all of his dough-boy papa-bear glory as seen above in April ’08 at the Forgetting Sarah Marshall premiere, and now he’s even smaller. Seth most recently turned up at the Funny People premiere, and at on Jimmy Kimmel looking svelte.
Although he receives compliments from everyone about his more sleek look, he’s been open about why he lost the weight: A role as a newspaper-publisher-turned-vigilante inthe Green Hornet. Rogen has lost at least 30 (probably now more like 40) pounds over the past year through simple “diet and exercise” to keep the role, and otherwise claims he doesn’t care how he looks or feels.
In fact, now that he’s thin, he feels terrible. He misses his food, and has admitted that he has tantrums and cries for no reason because of his dizzy state.
“I lost for a role, but I don’t know if I’ll keep it,” Seth says. “That’s the big question. I have a lot of tantrums. I want my food. I cry for no reason.”
Here’s Rogen in his new dapper meets delirious state going to the Jimmy Kimmel show on July 23, 2009:
Last October Seth joked to E! Online that it will only take a few hours for him to return to his former, chubby self. Given that his emotional issues and the fact that his girlfriend claims she likes him bigger, Seth will no doubt return to the lovable teddy-bear shape we used to know and love.
